The turbines are designed for a net head of 92.3 m and a discharge of 6 m3/s, generating up to 4.9 MW each. The commissioning of the new hydropower plant is scheduled for summer 2018.

HPP Krueng Isep: PT Senagan Energi, recently taken over by PT Tamaris Hidro, awarded GUGLER Water Turbines the contract for the supply of a 3rd vertical Pelton unit with 12 MW power output for the Krueng Isep hydropower plant, located in Acheh. In 2015 GUGLER Water Turbines had already supplied two (2) vertical Pelton, six jets and with a power output of 6.7 MW each, including the complete electromechanical equipment for the Krueng Isep HPP. The final power output of Krueng Isep hydropower plant will be more than 25 MW upon its completion in 2018.

HPP Batu Balai: PT Manna Energy Pratama contracted GUGLER Water Turbines for the supply of two (2) Francis Turbines together with the complete electromechanical equipment for the new Batu Balai hydropower plant with installed capacity of 3.3 MW. The Francis turbines are designed for a net head of 46 m and a discharge of 4 m3/s.

HPP Dominanga: GUGLER Water Turbines was awarded the contract for the supply of two (2) Francis Turbines together with the complete electromechanical equipment for the Dominanga hydropower plant to be built by PT Trinda Karya Mandiri. Net head is 89 m and discharge is 2.5m3/s for an installed capacity of 4 MW.

Furthermore basic engineering was executed for the new HPP Semendo (2x Francis, total 9 MW) and HPP Kanzy 1 (2x Francis, total 2.8 MW).

HPP Lintau: GUGLER Water Turbines delivered two (2) large vertical Kaplan spiral turbines for the new hydropower plant Lintau under construction nead Padang in Sumatra. The Kaplan turbines are designed for a net head of 32 m and a discharge of 17.85 m3/s, generating in total 10.4 MW.

HPP Lambur: GUGLER Water Turbines delivered two (2) Francis turbines, generators, inlet valves, HPU’s and the complete electrical6 control equipment for the new hydropower plant Lambur under construction in Central Java. The Francis turbines are designed for a net head of 84 m and a discharge of 5.45 m3/s, generating in total 8.3 MW.

HPP Lodagung: a new hydropower project in Java, consisting of two (2) Kaplan Siphon turbines, designed for a net head of 11 m and a discharge of 7m3/s were commissioned in December 2017. Its installed capacity is 1.4 MW. GUGLER Water Turbines has developed siphon turbines for several hydropower projects in the past and it is the first installation of its kind in Indonesia. PT Barata Indonesia was the main EPC contractor for this project and has subcontracted the turbines and related electromechanical equipment to GUGLER Water Turbines due to its long time experience in the design of siphon turbines and its successful cooperation on the Batu Hampar hydropower project in 2012.
