Deanston Hydropower Plant commissioned

In November 2020 GUGLER commissioned DEANSTON hydropower plant at Deanston Distillery in the UK.

The GUGLER Kaplan Turbine is designed for an output of 355kW at 4,2m³/s flow.The head of water is 9,2m.

GUGLER supplied the Kaplan tubular turbine with runner diameter of 900mm, the generator and the hydraulic power unit.
