We are proud to highlight that the Nam Cuoi Hydropower Plant in northern Vietnam is fully operational and marking a significant step in the country’s renewable energy journey. Generating 12,200 kW of clean power, helping to meet the region’s growing energy needs.
The plant features two Francis turbines, each designed for a flow of 15,2 m³/s and a head of 46 meters, ensuring high efficiency in energy production. The system is equipped with generators, hydraulic power units, butterfly valves. These components work together to ensure smooth operations and maintain the highest standards of performance and reliability. Additionally, GUGLER supplied switchgears, control system and an advanced SCADA system, which provide real-time data and remote monitoring to optimize plant performance
We’re incredibly proud to have contributed to this project and to see it operational. The Nam Cuoi Hydropower Plant is now a vital part of Vietnam’s renewable energy infrastructure, and we look forward to its continued success in helping to power the region sustainably for years to come.
