GUGLER Powers Up the Dupinga River
GUGLER Water Turbines is proud to announce the successful commissioning of the Dupinga Mini Hydropower project in Nueva Ecija, Philippines. This milestone further strengthens our long-standing presence in the country’s renewable energy sector and marks the completion of another key “water-to-wire” solution.
This project is much more than just a technical installation; it is a milestone for sustainable development in the region. Located in the scenic municipality of Gabaldon, the plant sits along the Dupinga River, a vital water source for the local Dumagat indigenous community. From the very beginning, the project was designed as a run-of-river plant.

Our comprehensive GUGLER “water-to-wire” solution for this project included:
Two Horizontal Francis Spiral Turbines: Each designed for a flow of 4.33 m³/s and a capacity of 2,364 kW.
