Indonesia celebrated the successful commissioning of the 10.4 MW Hydropower Project Lintau, featuring a high-efficiency GUGLER Kaplan Turbine with an impressive 2.8-meter inlet diameter. This project, located in the Lintau Buo sub-district of West Sumatra, marks a significant stride toward cleaner energy generation in the region.
GUGLER suplied all electromechanical equipment, including turbines generators, control system, transformers and switchgears.
The project’s advantages include reduced greenhouse gas emissions, local job opportunities and enhanced grid reliability.
Equipped with advanced turbine technology to minimize environmental impact, this initiative supports Indonesia’s renewable energy goals.
The commissioning of the HPP Lintau stands as a testament to GUGLER Water Turbines’ leading position in the Southeast Asian hydropower market.
