1) Vietnam – big Francis turbines for CH Dak Di 1 + Dak Di 2
GUGLER Water Turbines has been awarded two contracts for the supply of hydro turbines, generators and other electromechanical equipment for two new hydropower plants in Vietnam: HPP Dak Di 1 of 34 MW installed capacity and HPP Dak Di 2 of 23 MW installed capacity.
HPP Dak Di 1: consists of two (2) vertical Francis turbines of 17 MW each, designed for a net head of 226 m and a flow of 8.05 m3/s.
HPP Dak Di 2: consists of two (2) horizontal Francis turbines of 11.5 MW each, designed for a net head of 98.5m and a flow of 12.75 m3/s.
2) Philippines – new contract for GUGLER Water Turbines
GUGLER Water Turbines signed a contract with Dupinga Mini Hydro Corporation for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of two Francis turbines and all required electromechanical equipment for the new hydropower project Dupinga, developed by the company Alternergy.
The installed capacity of this new hydropower plant located on the main island of Luzon is 4700 kW and it is designed for a net head of 60.65 m and a flow of 8.66 m3/s.
Dupinga is the 9th hydropower project in the Philippines which has been awarded to GUGLER Water Turbines in the last 10 years.
Uddiawan hydropower plant, the 1st project our company has equipped with two Francis turbines with an power output of 1 MW each, has celebrated its 10 th anniversary of continued successful operation recently.
