Im Gegensatz zur bisher verwendeten Str\u00f6mungssimulation, welche ein festes Netz verwendet, um die Navier-Stokes Gleichungen zu l\u00f6sen, werden hier frei bewegliche Gitterpunkte verwendet. Dadurch werden Simulationen mit freien Oberfl\u00e4chen (Spritzwasser) mit handels\u00fcblicher Hardware in realistischen Zeiten m\u00f6glich. Im Zuge eines, von der FFG gef\u00f6rderten, Forschungsprojektes mit der JKU Linz, wurde diese Simulationsmethode noch einmal evaluiert und auf seine Praxistauglichkeit getestet. Bisher wurde diese Methode vorrangig dazu verwendet die Ausbreitung des Spritzwassers im Pelton-Geh\u00e4use sichtbar zu machen.
