Lebanon – Refurbishment of four hydropower plants

GUGLER Water Turbines came off as winner at the international call for bids for the refurbishment of four existing hydropower plants of the state-owned utility La Kadischa. The assignment will be executed
together with the local partner company Slomia and comprises the turn-key supply, assembly and commissioning of two new vertical, 4-nozzled Pelton turbines with an output of 1844 kW respectively 3639 kW as well as the complete mechanical and electrical refurbishment of seven (7) existing Pelton turbines of the hydropower plants Bescharré, Marlichaa, Blaouza und Abou Ali.

This major order is further evidence of GUGLER Water Turbine’s competitiveness by prevailing with European products of highest quality against the strongest international competitors.
